First Snow Storm of 2012

We have had our first snow storm of 2012. More snow is expected for Saturday 1/21/12, and it looks to be an all day event. Lets hope its all cleaned up so we can enjoy the Patriots Game on Sunday.

KING Announces Fall Ground School

Fall 2011 Private Pilot Ground School: Start date is: Tuesday, September 27th 6:30PM – 8:45PM. The class will meet Tuesday nights and Saturday Mornings 9:30AM – Noon. Location: upstairs in the FBO. Description: 2 classes per week, 7 weeks, 28 hours of instruction. Cost: $225.00 plus required book and e6b(flight computer). For more info, please go to the “services” tab and then Ground school. We are excited to once again have Chief Ground Instructor Matt Elia and CFI extraordinaire Jim Quinn teaching. the course. These two gentlemen are beginning their 4th year teaching this course together.

Hurricane Irene

We have spent the past two days preparing for Irene. We have prepared the airport for the winds, prepared the FBO for the rains, Moved the flight school fleet to CEF, and have meet with local officals and communicated with based aircraft owners and businesses. We are ready.

Hangar One Blimp

Blimp season is in full swing and our 1st blimp of the season is a new one. Hangar One Vodka. The are on a National tour with over 30 stops around the country. The name is due to it’s home base. The company is based at an airport in Alameda,California.
