Fuel Surcharge

Due to the rising fuel cost, we are forced to add a fuel surcharge of $7.00 per flight hour for the C-162, and $10.00 for all other aircraft.

Private Pilot Ground School

We are starting a spring Private Pilot Ground School on Thursday March 15th. Classes will be held on Thursdays 6:30 to 8:45 pm, and Saturdays 9:30 till noon. Cost will be $255.00 plus books and supplies. Space is limited! For more information call KING at 508-339-3624 or email matt@king1b9.com.

This cource will run for 7 weeks, and we will not do another till the fall so don’t wait!

FAA Safety Seminar March 10th

Come join us at the Mansfield Airport on Saturday, March 10th for an insightful and educational seminar and some free morning refreshments from our sponsors; KING Aviation-Mansfield, Al and Cal Reality Group. It is almost spring time and this event will be the perfect way to get out to the airport and get ready for more regular flying as the weather warms up. We will have local Light Sport Aircraft specialist Michael Butts on hand to talk about everything you need to know about flying and operating LSA’s. Pilots who are considering making the switch to LSA’s or are interested in learning more about LSA’s are welcomed to attend. KING Aviation will have its very own Cessna Skycatcher LSA on hand for anyone who is interested in learning more about the aircraft. Bob Welch and Matt Elia will also be going over some Mansfield Airport Best Practices during the seminar. This will be a brief segment at the conclusion, but as we move into the warmer weather and the grass runway opens for the season it is important to remember to be safety conscious.

Die Cast Planes

We are selling many of our die cast airplanes that we have been collecting over the years. If you are interested in purchasing any email me at kelley@king1b9.com. The prices are very low!

Many are brand new, never taken out of the box. If your a Wings of Texaco collector, we have # 7, 17,15,9, and 13, multiples of each, both regular and special editions. And we have multiples of Texaco Fruman G-21A Amphibian.

First Snow Storm of 2012

We have had our first snow storm of 2012. More snow is expected for Saturday 1/21/12, and it looks to be an all day event. Lets hope its all cleaned up so we can enjoy the Patriots Game on Sunday.
